After five years of studies in the “Beaux-Art” school in Tourcoing (1975-1980), Isabelle explores two topics: The foreigner (creation of African tissues in Paris) and the big format (realization of giant tarpaulin, Rochas, Renault, The Museum of Reims) with her sister Sylvie Derely(Sculptress).
In 1985 she opened her own school of plastic arts in Lambersart. (Atelier du petit Chevalet that actually counts with 200 students) and today she is principally dedicated to her art of painting.
Her numerous exhibitions for 15 years between Lille, Paris, Lyon, are the many steps which allow us to follow her paradoxical research between the material and the spirit.
Isabelle Venet’s painting combines with a strong talent her vision of the earth, with its beauties and its sufferings, its shadows and its lights and her vision of the men, who let their trace passing through life.
Isabelle is both influenced by her journeys, especially in Africa, and by the events that impact life. The maturity of her painting is expressed by poesy and colors which touch us, even through the beauty of the silhouettes and the forms which cross them. Brigitte et Edouard
